What is love , really ?

Is love a art or is love a feeling ? Does it require knowledge and effort or is it something someone falls into if they're lucky ? 

Is love passive or active ?

Is love a state that exists and is waiting for us to fall into or does it require our participation and efforts to bring about?

You know most people view love through passive lens .  Love is somehow out there waiting for us to stumble upon and you hear things like true love comes to those who wait or does not chase love it'll just find you when the time is right . 

But we all grow impatient from time to time . From the romance movies to the couples you see on the street , love can feel so near yet so far at the same time but in today's day and age , finding love seems like navigating a maze filled with new rules and Games , making anyone question if genuine love still exists. 

It's a strange feeling because love is a mystical feeling ,  like magic , like a mystery that we can never truly understand.  The mystery is waht makes romantic love so mesmerizing. 

You know I have always wanted aromatic love all my life. The kind of love that's different from every other kind of love that is so wonderful and gentle and heartwarming . The way your eyes light up when you see them , the way they are the first and the last thing you think about every day , the butterflies , the giggles , the banter . The anticipation nervousness , excitement  , and euphoria within it all.  Having someone to go out with and having someone to come home to . It's all I wished for but that mystery makes me question love at the same time. I wounded the good and trusted the wicked,  so how would I know if this is the right person to love me? How would I know if this person would love me the way I want to be loved ? How would I know if I would be loved th right way , the way I deserve? 

But come to think of it,

Not knowing all the answers is the beauty of love after all. From the moment we enter this world , we seek connections , acceptance and affections from others. It shapes our relationships  behaviors and sense of self worth throughout our lives. We yearn from the warthm of affectionate embraces , the reassurances of words , and the affirmation of our worthiness in the eyes of others.  But the desire to be loved can also leave us vulnerable to pain and disappointment. It drives you to not attract , but chase for it when it might not be for you. You know love can be the most beautiful or the most painful thing you have ever experienced.  But the risk of love Is loss , isn't it?

Love isn't about grand gestures , or the moon and the stars,. It's just dumb luck. Sometimes you meet someone who feels the same way and sometimes you are unlucky but one day you're going to meet someone who appreciates you for who you are .

There are 7 billion people on the planet,  one of them is going to climb up on the moon for you. 

You know craving love isn't a bad thing . I have so much love to give to someone and that someone isn't there yet and that's really frustrating.  I think sometimes we tend to look at ourselves and wonder why we feel certain ways but it's important to know that that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. There nothing to be ashamed of it's just part of the process and you might just need a little more  time.

Love is coming your way . It just takes time but it'll fall onto your hands. So watch as the love you seek find it's way to you , in the most unexpected places , through the most unexpected people. You find the people you're looking for waiting for you just around the corner. And when the day comes , you'll fall in love , you'll be loved and you'll be loved right.
